Believe it or not, the Vespa 150 TAP (the AT gun infused onto a vespa) was a pretty crucial weapon for French paratroopers. The vespa was para-dropped along with two other paratroopers and another vespa. One vespa carried the gun, the other carried the ammunition. Before firing, the gun was carried off the vespa and placed onto a tripod where then the men could fire it.The M20 75mm Recoiless Rife used HEAT warheads and could blast through 100mm worth of armour. Although it wasn't actually fired from the vespa, it was very light and cheap to make (hence why it was used by paratroopers). The Vespa was made in France, whilst the gun was made in the US. Once the gun got onto French soil, it was retrofitted onto the Vespa. The more you know.
Well, that makes a lot more sense, I know more and more about each mod as the days pass. It is pretty annoying, though, that there is no source code for MCHeli. Because of it, improvements and models can't be made for MCHeli except by the devs. Hopefully the devs of MCHeli bring out source code for their mod soon.
I have noticed something a little frustrating between Flans vehicles and MCHeli vehicles. I didn't realize this problem before because the vehicles I test MCHeli weapons on have such small hit boxes that the problem is not noticeable, but once you bring big vehicles like ships into the equation in becomes apparent. When I shoot a Flans ship with any MCHeli weapon I have to hit the hit box in order to damage it, but I can damage a Flans ship anywhere on the model with a Flans weapon. In other words, with a MCHeli weapon I have to shoot the hit box in order to damage it, but that is not the case with Flans weapons where I can shoot any part of the ship and it gets damaged. I am wondering if this is an unsolvable compatibility or a bug.
