I currently have a 3D model of a revolver that is in the .obj format. I have tried multiple methods suggested by many helpful people however I have failed to convert the file into something readable by Toolbox. Could someone please take the attached .obj and make it some form that can be used by toolbox? Thank you.
Ok after some more investigation and testing I have found that it was a Toolbox bug. When you are using decimals in config you need to have "." not "," and when creating the config though Toolbox it places "," for some reason. For anyone out there who has a similar problem always double check decimals in config or don't even use them.
Ok, so I got it to work. Still not sure what was the problem, but it seems it was the config. I replaced the model path and texture path in one of my other models and it worked. Now I need to re position seats, wheels, and hitboxes.
As far as I know, you can only use an obj file for a model guideline- type thing under model settings and obj model display tab. I've heard it is possible to export obj models to java in blender, and toolbox can import from java.
I currently have a 3d model file in the form of a .obj file. Yet after looking around in various places I have come to the conclusion that I can't use toolbox smp to use the .obj file. However, I have found several people stating that it is possible to import a .obj file and using it to create a content pack. Yet simultaneously I have not found anything that suggests how I could go about doing this. How can I use a .obj file to create a content pack with 3d models?
