Toolbox 2.0 Preview Update 5
Saturday Update:

Finished the Shape Editor today.
The Import of java classes is also nearly finished, i only have to add the shapes to it.

Next will be the export stuff which will be more easy and the camera controls by wasd.

Much stuff is finished but much more to do. And please feel free to comment and add wishes. But keep in mind, i'm new in 3D programming so not all stuff is possible.

Toolbox 2.0 Preview Update 3
Today's update:
I figured now out how to bring textures into the Toolbox and on the model. Its not that easy as i expected. I still have to do some fine tuning on it.

Next items in the row are the Shape editor and the import java class function followed by the export functions and the texture editor (i'm have currently no idea how it will look)

- Grouping
- Import of a model into a model

Here a small Status update about the upcoming Toolbox 2.0

- Boxes: Check
- Positions: Check
- Dimensions: Check
- Rotation: Check
- Offset: Check
- Part Lists with Model parts: Check
- Adding Part: Check
- Deleting Parts: Check
- Zoom with Mousewheel: Check
- Move 3D view with mouse: Check
- Edit Parts, change to Shapebox etc.: Check
- Load/Save: Check
- Import from Techne : Check
- Rotating Wheels: Check

Planned Features:
- Propeller Tool included (Rotating )
- Drag and Drop
- Select Elements by mouse
- Import from Java
- Export to Flans Mod, Turbo Model Thingy, Java
- Adding Shapes
- Texture Builder, if possible with basic drawing features. This will be in a separate window.

Feel free to post USEFULL and FEASIBLE wishes, suggestions and additions into the comments.

On the clip you can see the basic options i have finished by now. You may notice how smooth the tool handles the model with nearly 400 parts.

Toolbox 2.0
I just want to announce, that i have begone the work on the Toolbox 2.0. How long till the first working beta... well, i don't know, maybe 2 or 3 weeks. Depends on the time i can spare during the next weeks which are a bit busy.

New Core Feature:

Finally my own modelling tool which will able to handle box, trapezoid, shapes, shapeboxes etc.

Toolbox News
Currently i have not much time to create stuff due to the renovation of the house of my brother in law. But some stuff is still in progress.

Yes i heard the problems with the Modelling Helper and the request to bring it into the toolbox. So, here we go, the first impressions from the new ShapeBox Builder Tool.



Due to the nice and smooth looking 3D i'm currently thinking about building a own modelling tool like Techne but especially for our community needs.

Maybe i can figure out how to build something like this.
